Suggestopedia is a method for teaching and learning based on the research work by Dr. Lozanov (Bulgaria). The learning material is presented holistically and structured at the same time. It makes fun to learn new information in this inter-active, group dynamic way. In the process of learning the material is not only stored in our brains easier and faster but can also be retrieved for a longer period of time. Images and stories are very effective ingredients. The new information is absorbed in a creative, humorous way where all the participants are personally and emotionally involved in the learning process.
2 DAYS WORKSHOP ABOUT DREAM INTERPRETATION
By Luc De Schepper, MD, PhD, Lic.Ac
We all have learnt that “recurrent dreams” are important but what do we do with this information in the practice? Dream interpretation is not taught in any homeopathic school program. Half of the human’s life (the unconscious and its voice, the dream) is not considered in the selection of the simillimum or in the management of the patient. Are these recurrent dreams the only important ones?
This two days seminar is a very practically oriented exposition of dream interpretation to help the homeopath in the selection of the simillimum and as another guideline besides Hering’s Observations to know that he follows the direction of cure.
In the program the attendant will learn the general Jungian approach to dreams, the expression of dreams with examples, the important dreams (recurrent, series, archetypal dreams) with examples and why these dreams are important. Elements of the unconscious, the Shadow, Anima and Animus are explained and used in examples of dream interpretation. Furthermore children’s dreams, adolescent’s dreams and adult dreams are analyzed with examples so that the student can get to know many of the relative fixed symbols that are used to understand dreams.
Finally the homeopath will have a working knowledge when patients convey their dreams. You don’t have to listen to a dream and then say: “And now what?” This seminar opens new ways to prescribe the simillimum with more confidence.
